SPART Members Doug Burchard, Randy Riggs, Sumi Lavin, Isaac Ginsberg, and Frank Rossi taught classroom sessions for a NSP Avalanche Level 1 course. King County is hosting the 2015 Washington State Search and Rescue Conference. KCSARA, including SPART members, is busy planning for the conference. In the mean time, check out http://wasarcon.org/ for more information!

SPART Members, including Dick Willy, Barbara Leirson, Andee Vaughan, and Matt Kurjanowicz, helped teach and run the first biannual KCSARA Training Academy on April 5th and 6th, 2014. The academy reached over 200 volunteers with KCSARA, helped grade over 1,000 tests, and spread vital knowledge about KCSARA training. Thank you all!
